Elleven Säm formed in 2014 in Alingsås, Sweden, with Jonna Samuelsson on vocals, Simon Wenzel on guitar, Jonas Abrahamsson on bass, and Daniel Carlsson on drums. They put out their first EP, 'The Phantom of the Opera,' in 2016. The song 'Wall Street Skulls' came out in 2018 and became their most recognized track.
Their music tends toward atmospheric, folk-tinged arrangements with Samuelsson's voice carrying the melodies. Other songs like 'Losing Time' and 'Cyan Door' follow a similar path of moody, introspective writing. They've kept a fairly low profile outside of their recordings.
