The track appeared on their 1977 album 'Cabeça de Nego' alongside other politically tinged material.
Later albums like 'Ciranda' in 1979 leaned into more personal themes, while 'Samba do Povo' the following year focused on traditional Brazilian rhythms. The band's final studio album 'Roda Viva' came out in 1983 after Zé Geraldo had departed.
