In 1973, they released their debut album 'The Call of the Night.' The opening track 'Sundown' became their most recognizable song. It had a haunting quality that caught people's attention, with its melody and guitar work standing out.
After 'Sundown,' Elwood put out more albums through the 1970s. 'Whispers in the Dark' came out in 1975, followed by 'The Shadow of the Moon' in 1978. These records continued in a similar vein to their earlier work.
