His debut album 'Oração' came out in 1994, and its title track 'Pequena Oração' became his breakthrough song.
That song, 'Pequena Oração,' connected with listeners in a way that defined his career. Its lyrics about hope and guidance, paired with Pereira's vocal delivery, gave him a wider audience. He went on to release other albums like 'O Caminho do Vento' in 1997 and 'Sintonia' in 2000.
