Emerson Santos started singing with the band Terra Samba when he was 15. He went solo in 2017 with his first album 'Só pra Você,' which had the song 'Superei' on it. That track became a hit in Brazil.
He's put out a few albums since then, including 'Pra Sempre' in 2019 and 'Em Mim' in 2021. Some of his other songs people know are 'Ele Não Mudou' and 'Preciso Conversar.'
There was a legal fight with his old record label in 2019 about money and control over his music. He's also been vocal about LGBTQ+ rights and has criticized government corruption, which has gotten him both support and pushback.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
