End of Fashion formed in Melbourne in the early 2000s, with Justus West on vocals and guitar, Michael Finnane on guitar, Dennis Dowlut on drums, and Rodney Aravena on bass. Their debut single "Oh Yeah" came out in 2004 and caught on quickly, leading to a self-titled album the next year. The band had an indie rock sound with some electro-pop touches, and songs like "American" and "Anymore" kept things straightforward and melodic.
After their first album, things got bumpy. Bassist Rodney Aravena left in 2006, and their second album "Division" in 2007 didn't land the same way. They went on hiatus around 2009 after a legal dispute with their label Astralwerks, and West did some solo work while the others scattered. They got back together in 2015 and put out a third album called "Valhalla" in 2016.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
