Enlace21 formed in Bogotá, Colombia in the early 2000s around Santiago Cruz, Andrés Cabas, and Sebastián Yepes. Their debut album "No Desperdicies Tu Tiempo" came out in 2002, with the title track becoming a hit.
Yepes left the group in 2005, and Cruz and Cabas continued as a duo. In 2010, Cruz released a song critical of the Colombian government's response to social protests, which stirred some public debate. They put out their final studio album "Historias de Amor" in 2015, working with other Latin artists on it.
Their songs like "MV," "A Ella," and "Confieso" show the kind of melodic, rhythm-driven pop they were known for.
