Enme formed in London with James Valentine on vocals, Tom Higham on guitar, Greg Eve on drums, and Ciaran Jeremiah on bass. Their debut album was called 'Big Street' in 2006, which gave them their first real attention.

They put out several more records over the next decade, including 'The View from Here' in 2008 and 'Soundtrack to the End of the World' in 2010. Their sound wasn't easy to pin down, and some of their lyrics about social issues stirred things up at the time.

They kept releasing albums like 'The Distance Between Here and There' in 2013 and 'Here We Are' in 2016. The song 'Big Street' remains one people remember.
