Here we wait for the dawn

and behold the Fortress rise ahead

As the rays of the sunlight fall

the Legion's blood, it will be shed

I was chosen for the plan

and if we prevail we may survive

as the rest of the Legion's men

engage the Fallen one last time

There's a half-a-million foe

from here to the stronghold

Not a single one of us survive

Die is cast...

and twenty-hundred men fight to the last

Meanwhile the standard we found in the caves

is brought to the field and before the Fortress raised

And now we wait in the midst of the war

"Keep in mind that he has been killed before..."

As the light fades away

from the heathland phantom's way

In the end of all dismay

a new dawn will then await...

One display, one domain,

different fates and different names

But the soul - just one - remains,

a single everlasting flame

And every hero's one and the same...

Time goes by but some things last

And the standard did provoke his past

The field behind was turning red...

as we took his life and cut off his head

The Legion lay in pools of blood

the battle's lost but the War is won

The sun is rising from behind the fort...

By the sword we've turned the page of time

and the dark alliance of the Lords:

shattered with the mastermind.

Now the one who seemed to rule them all...

his remains lie headless on the ground

And the rest of them will face downfall

for they will be hunted down...

All, behold the Ruler of the Fallen Lords!

As foretold, we removed him from his throne

See his head in endless darkness fall,

Rule of death... it will reign this land no more

And after all the strife and after all the pain

at last there's grace upon the realm again

We live our dream once more and now it's on the wing

Eulogy for the slain we sing...

(and see a rising star)

Few percieve - a Being disappears...

As we know, it's taken place before

It is gone now - for a thousand years

We know what it's waiting for...

As the Comet rises, (it) takes new form,

then returns to rule and rearray

The eternal Cycle turns the world

as heroes rise... and fade away.
