Erivan formed in Brazil in the late 1980s, started by Eraldo and Adriano. They made music with spiritual themes, releasing albums like 'Mensageiro da Paz' in 1990 and 'Toque de Anjo' in 1992.
In 1994, they put out 'Hino da Beata Dulce Dos Pobres,' a song about a Brazilian nun. It became one of their best-known tracks. Other songs from around that time include 'Deixa-me viver' and 'Dom de Deus.'
The band's lineup has included Adriano Gonçalves on vocals, Eraldo Martins on guitar and vocals, Marcos Meireles on bass, and Rafael Iggor on drums. They kept recording into the 2000s with albums like 'Erguei Vossa Voz' in 2000 and 'Um Novo Tempo' in 2005.
