Their debut album 'Escape Club' included 'Wild Wild West,' which became their biggest hit, and 'I'll Be There.' They followed it with albums called '11:59' and 'Flex.'
Rutherford left the band at one point, and they faced some criticism for lyrics that were seen as overly sexual. Their sound mixed rock with funk and soul elements, heard on tracks like 'Shake For the Shiek' and 'Only the Rain.'
After their initial run, their music has stayed in circulation mainly through 'Wild Wild West,' which still gets played on classic rock and 80s stations. They never quite matched that single's impact with later releases like 'The Longest Day' or 'Staring At the Sun.'
