Eskina Roja formed in Lima around 2005, with Fito Flores as their singer. Their first album, "La Rebelión de los Pitufos," came out in 2006 and included the track "Baby Alkol." The band played a mix of cumbia with rock, reggae, and punk elements.
Their lyrics sometimes touched on social issues and drew criticism. In 2010, bassist Pepe San Martín was arrested for drug possession, but the group kept performing. They released albums like "El Buscando del Amor" in 2008 and "El Viaje del Sapo" in 2012.
Another song of theirs is "Warra Que Asco Das." Their later work includes "El Rey de los Sapos" from 2017 and "El Último Rey" from 2022.
