Esmé formed in Miami with María Esmé on vocals, Andres Gonzalez on guitar, Luis Garcia on percussion, and Juan Pablo Rodriguez on bass. They had trouble getting noticed at first, with labels unsure about their sound.
Things changed in 2014 when they put out 'Loco Por Ti.' That song caught on with its beat and vocals, doing well on charts in Latin America and Europe. It wasn't their only track, they also had 'Botella' and 'Eres Mujer' among their songs.
There were some rough patches along the way. Luis Garcia left the band early on, and in 2017, María Esmé was arrested on drug charges.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
