Estação Quatro Católico formed in São Paulo in 2007, with Cássio Castilhol, Daniel Prandini, Rafael Araújo, and Tiago Moura making up the original lineup. They put out their self-titled debut album the following year, and their version of the traditional hymn "40 Dias" became widely known in Brazil.
In 2010, their song "Santo Forte" drew some criticism from religious figures who felt its depiction of Saint Anthony of Padua was too sensational. The band also faced occasional pushback for incorporating modern musical styles into their Catholic music, though they maintained that faith and contemporary sounds could work together.
They've released seven studio albums since starting out.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
