Estação Restrita formed in São Paulo in 2006, with Bruno Garcia on vocals and guitar, Fernando Sanches on bass, and Gustavo Martins on drums. Their early sound had a raw energy, built around power chords and lyrics that often dealt with personal themes. They started playing local gigs, slowly building a following through their live shows.
Their song "Cada Segundo" became a major hit, though it also led to a plagiarism accusation in 2011. The band denied it and won the case. That track, along with others like "Dia Melhor" and "Livre De Você," helped define their catalog. Their debut album was called "Flores no Asfalto."
They've worked with other Brazilian artists like Tiago Iorc and Pitty. Over time, they put out more records, including "Na Contramão" and an album also titled "Cada Segundo."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
