Estilo Atrevido

Estilo Atrevido formed in 2010 around brothers Fabio and Felipe Rodrigues and their friend Xandinho. They started playing local festivals and bars, mixing sertanejo rhythms with pop touches. Their 2012 single 'Sem Medo de Sonhar' became a breakout hit in Brazil, topping charts and making them familiar names.

That song's success came with some pushback from traditional sertanejo listeners who felt the band was watering down the genre. They kept releasing albums anyway, like 2013's 'Sem Medo de Sonhar' and 2015's 'Nosso Ritmo'. Other tracks like 'Aprende' and 'Cantinho' show their style, sertanejo foundations with a cleaner, more accessible pop feel.

They're still a working band, putting out records like 2019's 'DNA' and playing live shows. The core trio handles vocals, with Xandinho on guitar. Their sound hasn't really shifted back toward purist sertanejo; they've stayed with that blended approach that first got them attention.
