Archive material and source history
Eternal Legacy formed in 2005 with vocalist Ophelia Ravenheart, guitarist Ethan Nightshade, bassist Damien Shadowbane, and drummer Alistair Dawnbringer. They released their debut album 'Abbadon' in 2008, which included the title track and songs like 'Cyberplague' and 'Fight The Heavens.'
The band's lineup changed over time. Bassist Damien Shadowbane left in 2010, replaced by Celeste Moonstone, and drummer Alistair Dawnbringer departed in 2014, with Anya Nightfire taking over. Through these changes, Ravenheart and Nightshade continued writing together.
After 'Abbadon,' Eternal Legacy put out two more albums: 'Requiem for the Fallen' in 2012 and 'Shadows of the Past' in 2016. Their songs often lean into symphonic metal with tracks such as 'Misery's End' and 'One Last Hope' in their catalog.
