The current lineup includes Assunção on vocals and guitar, with Edilton Trindade on keyboards, Rodrigo Reis on bass, and Edmundo Neto on drums.
One of their songs, "Você Vai Vencer," became particularly well-known. In 2005, the band faced plagiarism accusations, which they disputed and moved past.
Their music draws from the rhythmic traditions of Bahia, where Assunção grew up. The band's sound has remained grounded in those regional influences while reaching a national audience in Brazil.
