Ezequias Freitas

Ezequias Freitas grew up in Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, where he sang in a Pentecostal church choir as a teenager. He started recording in his late teens, and his first album came out in 2006. That record was called 'Cheio da Unção,' which also became the name of his most recognizable song.

'Cheio da Unção' connected with listeners across Brazil and helped establish Freitas as a gospel singer. After that, he kept putting out albums like 'Unção de Cura,' 'Transformação,' and 'Renova-me.' He has worked with other artists in Brazil and elsewhere, but mostly he's known for his straightforward, devotional recordings.
