F-Timmi

F-Timmi was a hip-hop group that came up in the late 1990s. Their debut single '500 Thug Stronda' came out in 1999 and caught on with its mix of Southern trap and East Coast styles. The song's gritty lyrics and heavy beats found an audience at a time when hip-hop was getting more commercial.

Around 2001, the group got into some legal trouble with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The lawsuit claimed their music was being used to promote drug trafficking. F-Timmi pushed back, saying they were just reflecting street life in their songs.

Other tracks from that period include 'Fallout,' 'Have Gun Will Travel,' and 'Stay In School.' The group broke up in 2009, and the members went on to solo work. T.I. became a successful rapper and actor, J-Roc kept producing and started a label, and Big G stayed active in Atlanta's hip-hop scene.
