Fabio César & Cristiano

Fabio César and Cristiano met in 1997, both drawn to music from Campo Grande in Mato Grosso do Sul. They started playing local bars and festivals, working through the usual early struggles of getting noticed. Their sound eventually caught on with the 2009 single "Como tem que ser," which became a hit across Brazil and helped establish them in the sertanejo scene.

That breakthrough led to albums like Ao Vivo em Campo Grande in 2010 and Do Jeito Que Tem Que Ser in 2012. Songs such as "Coração de Aço" and "É Loucura Demais" kept their momentum going, connecting with listeners through straightforward melodies and relatable lyrics about love and everyday situations.

In 2015, they dealt with plagiarism accusations that turned into a legal dispute, but they continued recording and performing. They put out 10 Anos in 2019 and Pura Emoção in 2021, maintaining a steady presence without much flash or drama. Fabio handles vocals and guitar, while Cristiano sings and plays bass, keeping their setup simple and focused on the music itself.
