Fábio Sollon

Fábio Sollon came from São Joaquim da Barra, a small town in São Paulo state. He started writing songs as a teenager and kept at it through the usual early struggles, playing local venues until something connected.

In 2015, his song "Desgraça de Amar" went viral. It's a ballad about heartbreak that found a wide audience, and that led to his debut album "De Lá Pra Cá" the following year. Another track people know is "Mexeu Com o Vaqueiro."

There was some criticism about whether he was mining heartbreak too commercially, and he had personal difficulties around that time. The music kept going, but the story got complicated.
