The all-female band Fabulous Girls formed in the late 1990s with Luna Moon on vocals, Stella Star on guitar, Ruby Red on bass, and Violet Sky on drums. Their debut album 'Flight of the Butterflies' arrived in 2001, featuring the song 'Butterflies' that became their breakthrough track.
Their music drew some criticism for its outspoken lyrics and style, but they continued releasing albums like 'Whispers in the Wind' in 2004 and 'Echoes of the Heart' in 2007. The band's 2015 album was titled 'Unbreakable,' which shares its name with one of their popular songs.
Each member pursued individual projects alongside the band's work. Luna Moon released a solo album in 2010, Stella Star wrote music for theater, and Ruby Red and Violet Sky collaborated on experimental side projects.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
