A London band whose energetic singles got radio play in the mid-2000s.
For the sound they nailed, start with "Eighty Six" and "Disclosure." That's the core of what they did well.
Fact's 2004 single "Eighty Six" charted in several countries and got heavy rotation, giving their self-titled debut album real momentum. Songs like "Disclosure" and "Attack Me If You Dare" delivered that same direct, punchy rock energy without much fuss. They weren't reinventing anything, but they landed a clean hit when it counted.
They put out their debut in 2003 and followed it with three more albums over the next decade: "Get Lost" in 2006, "Neon" in 2009, and "Fact IV" in 2012. The band has been largely inactive since then.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
