Facto Delafé

Facto Delafé y las Flores Azules formed in Barcelona in the early 2000s, led by Oscar D'Aniello. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, and one of its tracks, 'Ciudadanos de un lugar llamado mundo,' became something of an anthem in the Spanish indie scene. The band followed it with '0' in 2007, which included 'Para que no se duerman mis sentidos.'

D'Aniello's songwriting tends toward the introspective, and the arrangements often blend rock with folk and Latin touches. Other songs like 'La Juani' and 'Combates cotidianos' show that range. They've put out five studio albums in total.

In 2011, the band drew some criticism for working with the Spanish government on an anti-smoking campaign, with a few fans suggesting it compromised their artistic stance. The group has kept a fairly steady presence since, without the dramatic arcs some profiles might imply.
