Fael & Bely

Fael Magalhães and Bely Sodré began working together after meeting at a songwriting workshop in 2008. Fael came from Catanduva in São Paulo state, while Bely was from Rio de Janeiro. Their early material blended pop, sertanejo, and acoustic elements in ways that didn't fit neatly into established Brazilian music categories.

Their 2012 single 'Apanhando da Vida' became their breakthrough track. The song's straightforward emotional delivery connected with listeners, establishing them as a recognizable duo. They followed it with 'O Amor' as another of their better-known songs.

They kept writing and recording together, maintaining a consistent presence without dramatic career shifts. Their music stayed focused on the kind of direct, melodic songwriting that had worked for them from the start.
