Fahrenheit 451 formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s. The band included vocalist Raymond Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger, who had both been in The Doors, along with bassist Chuck Wright and drummer John Densmore.
Their 1984 debut album was self-titled, and they followed it with records like 'Hiding from Love' in 1985 and '2000 Mani' in 1987. The song '2000 Mani' became one of their best-known tracks, along with 'Cammina, Cammina' and 'Lo So, Lo Sai (This Is The Right Time)'.
They kept recording through the late 80s and early 90s, putting out albums like 'Raiders and Rebuilders' in 1989 and 'No Exit' in 1991. Their music drew some criticism at the time for being aggressive or nihilistic, but they maintained a following.
