Fahst formed in Stockholm in 2007. Their debut album 'Aghast' came out that same year. The band's name stands for 'Forbidden Acts of Heavenly Sin,' which gives you a sense of the territory they were working in.
In 2010 they released their second album, also called 'Hellen,' which included the song of the same name. That track became their most recognized work, a slow, heavy ballad built around frontman Johan Edlund's vocals. The lineup at that time included Kent Norberg on guitar, Tommy ReinXeed on bass, and Andreas Johansson on drums.
After releasing 'Roots' in 2013, the band went quiet for a few years. They came back in 2019 with a fourth album titled 'The Awakening.'
