FAI

FAI formed as a Brazilian rock band in the early 2010s with Bruno Silva on vocals, Rafael Padovani on guitar, Flavio Padovani on bass, and Gustavo Jobim on drums. They found their audience in 2014 with the single "Não Somos Mais Os Mesmos," which gave its name to their debut album. That song, along with others like "Minha Vida Por Um Triz" and "O Herói de Si Mesmo," established their sound around straightforward rock arrangements and lyrics that leaned into personal reflection.

Their later albums, including 2016's "Eu Sou Um Animal," 2019's "Fênix," and 2022's "Um Novo Amanhecer," kept to a similar path. The writing often touched on identity and emotional states, with songs like "A Angústia de Viver" and "Vejo Todos Felizes" reflecting that inward focus. They've also addressed social topics in their work, which has drawn both support and criticism at times.

In 2017, the band dealt with plagiarism allegations concerning one of their songs, which they denied. The matter created some noise around them for a while. Beyond that episode, they've generally kept recording and releasing music without much fanfare about their place in the scene.
