Failbertel

Failbertel formed in Barcelona in the early 2000s, with Esteban Garcia on vocals and guitar, Pablo Perez on bass, and Maria Vega on drums. Their first album, 'El Silencio de las Murallas,' came out in 2006 and included the song 'Contigo Estar,' which got them some attention. They put out a few more records after that, like 'La Ciudad Perdida' in 2008 and 'El Vuelo de las Almas' in 2010.

Their music tends to mix folk and rock with some electronic touches, and they've used traditional Spanish instruments here and there. Songs like 'Inmensidad' and 'Todo Se Reduce a Nada' have that same atmospheric quality people noticed early on. The lyrics can be pretty introspective, which hasn't always landed with everyone, some listeners found them a bit obscure.

They kept working as a trio, with Garcia, Perez, and Vega all contributing to the writing. The band's sound never really fit neatly into what was popular in Spanish music at the time, which might be why they stayed somewhat under the radar outside of certain circles. They haven't put out a huge amount of material, just those few albums in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
