Failure formed in Los Angeles in 1993 with Ken Andrews on vocals and guitar, Greg Edwards on guitar, Ed Brooks on bass, and Scott Kelly on drums. Their debut album 'Comfort' came out in 1992, followed by 'Magnified' in 1994. The song 'Another Space Song' from that second album became a notable track for them.

They released 'Fantastic Planet' in 1996 before disbanding. The band reunited in 2014 and put out two more albums, 'Golden Sun' in 2015 and 'The Heart Is a Monster' in 2018. Other songs in their catalog include 'Bernie,' 'Dirty Blue Balloons,' and 'Solaris.'
