Background notes

Archive material and source history

Fair formed in the late 1990s as an alternative rock band. Their debut album 'The One You Want' came out in 1999, followed by 'Breakaway' in 2002 and 'Goodnight Farewell' in 2004. The band included Marc Broussard on vocals, Kelly Broussard on guitar, Thaddeus Broussard on bass, and Blake Eakin on drums.

In 2001, Fair released the single 'Anymore,' which became their most recognizable song. Other tracks from that period include 'Attic,' 'Bide My Crime,' and 'Disappearing World.' Marc Broussard left the band in 2004 to work on solo material.

The group reunited in 2017 to record 'One and One,' their first album together in over a decade. A compilation called 'The Best of Fair' had been released in 2006 during their hiatus.
