Fall River formed in 2005, taking their name from the Massachusetts city. Michael Voss and Ezra Weiss were founding members, and their early sound drew from bands like The Smiths and Radiohead. They released their debut album 'At Least You Bought Her Flowers' in 2007, which included the title track and songs like 'My Heart, The Beggar' and 'The President Has Been Kidnapped by Ninjas'.
In 2009 they put out 'The Art of Losing,' followed by 'The Waking Hours' in 2012. Around 2010, the band faced plagiarism allegations concerning 'At Least You Bought Her Flowers,' though these were later dismissed. They kept recording after that, with tracks like 'I'm Not a Big Fan of Parentheses (Burn Baby, Burn)' appearing in their catalog.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
