Família Jardim de Deus formed in Brazil in the late 1990s, made up of four siblings named Leonardo, Daniel, Fabio, and Vinicius Mendes. They started as a gospel band, and in 2004 they put out their first album, 'Uma Nova História.' The title track from that record did well on Christian music charts.
A couple years later they released an album called 'Além da Fé,' which included the song of the same name. Leonardo sang lead and wrote songs, Daniel played bass, Fabio was on drums, and Vinicius handled keyboards. They all sang backing vocals.
They kept putting out albums through the 2000s and into the early 2010s, with titles like 'Adore,' 'Infinito,' and 'Te Amo Mais Que Tudo.' Their music stayed in the gospel and Christian pop lane, built around the brothers' harmonies and straightforward arrangements.
