Família Almorin formed in the mid-1990s in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, when Wilson Almorin started singing with his three sons Wesley, Welington, and Willian. They began performing at local church events, with Wesley handling lead vocals and songwriting while Welington played drums and Willian guitar and keyboard.
In 1999 they released their debut album, which included the track "100% Jesus." That song became widely known in Brazilian Christian music circles, helping establish their presence. Other songs like "Coluna de Fogo" and "Vem Espírito Santo" also became part of their repertoire.
They went on to record several more albums over the following years, including Luz do Mundo in 2001, Caminho de Milagres in 2004, and Um Novo Tempo in 2010. Their music remained centered around the brothers' vocal harmonies and straightforward arrangements.
