Familia Sião formed in the early 2000s in the suburbs of São Paulo, Brazil, around brothers Emerson and Jefferson Pinheiro. They started playing at local churches and street corners, building a following without much initial support.
Their 2008 album 'Meu Louvor' gave them wider recognition, with the title track becoming popular for its harmonies and worship lyrics. The song 'Guerreiros de Sião' also appears among their most-listened tracks.
They've released other albums like 'Lugar Secreto' in 2010 and 'Faz Chover' in 2014. Their sound has shifted from the pop-rock energy of their early work toward something more reflective over time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
