Fansitube was a Portuguese band that released music in the early 2000s. Their song 'A Canção Dos Nightmares' became something of a cult favorite, giving the band its most recognizable track. They had four members: Nuno Markl handled lyrics and vocals, Pedro Azevedo sang and played guitar, João Rodrigues was on bass, and Paulo Furtado played drums.
Their debut album 'Um Dia Escuro' came out in 2001, followed by 'O Mundo das Almas' in 2003. The 2005 album 'A Canção Dos Nightmares' featured their signature track and marked a breakthrough moment for the band. They released one more album, 'O Fim,' in 2007 before apparently stopping.
Their music tended toward dark, atmospheric sounds with psychological themes. Other songs in their catalog include 'Unidos Somos Mais Fortes,' 'Eu Te Quero Assim,' and 'Ninguém Vai Me Derrubar.' Their style sometimes drew criticism for its unapologetically dark perspective.
