Fantasia was a group built around Tameka Cottle's lead vocals, with Danielle Spencer on harmonies, Adrienne Smith on bass, Sabrina Brooks on guitar, and Jamilah Mohammed on drums. Their 2000 debut album included the song 'When I See U,' which became their most recognizable track.
They released several albums over the next decade, including Fantasia II in 2003, Fantasy in 2006, and Breathe Again in 2009. Other songs in their catalog include 'Free Yourself,' 'Lose To Win,' and 'Without Me.'
The group took a break around 2009 but returned to recording, putting out The Medicine in 2014. Their music blended soul with R&B elements, anchored by Cottle's vocal delivery and the band's rhythmic foundation.
