Far Out formed in Paris around 2009 with Thomas Mars on vocals, Nicolas Godin on bass, and Paul-Marie Barbier on drums. They put out a self-titled debut album the following year. Their song 'Constellation' became a notable track, and they later recorded 'Lost With You' with Ruby Chase.
Their music leaned toward dream pop with ethereal textures, and they released another album called 'Sympathy for the Devil'. Other songs like 'On My Own', 'Alchemy', and 'Focus' rounded out their work during this period.
