Fard

Fard is a German hip-hop duo made up of rappers Farid Bang and Kollegah. They started putting out music in the mid-2000s, with their first album 'Feuer' arriving in 2005. Their songs, like 'Bonnie Und Clyde' and 'Der Junge Ohne Herz', often deal with themes of street life and rebellion, delivered with a direct, sometimes confrontational style.

In 2009, their single 'Bonnie Und Clyde' became a flashpoint. Despite that, or perhaps partly because of it, the song became a commercial hit and pushed Fard further into the public eye.

Their discography grew steadily through the 2010s with albums like 'JBG 2', 'Fard', and 'Platin war gestern'. The work maintained a consistent, gritty aesthetic rooted in German hip-hop, avoiding much of the polish found in mainstream pop. They've worked with other rappers in the scene, including Silla and Bushido.
