Fargetta

Fargetta formed in Vicenza in 1994, with Daniele Davoli, Gianfranco Bortolotti, and Roberto Molinaro as founding members. Their big break came in 1998 with 'Cantare, Sognare,' which became a dance floor staple across Europe. The track's simple, uplifting melody and straightforward lyrics connected with listeners in a way their earlier work hadn't quite managed.

Davoli left the group in 1999 to work on his own music. The band continued, releasing songs like 'Sunshine of My Life' and 'Good Times.' A plagiarism claim was made against 'Sunshine of My Life' in 2001, which the band denied. Their output in the early 2000s included tracks such as 'I Don't Know Why' and 'I'm Leaving You.'

Later lineup changes brought in Ennio Gatti on keyboards and Alex Ferri on drums, with Bortolotti handling vocals and Molinaro on DJ duties. They kept making music through the mid-2000s, with releases like 'La Musica' in 2005.
