Fat Kid Camp

Fat Kid Camp started in the late 1990s in Carrollton, Texas, with brothers Jason and Jared Karns. They played local open mics and built a following, releasing EPs and touring before their 2005 album 'Hogwash' brought wider attention. The song 'Arrival' from that album became a hit, known for its appeal to outsiders.

The band's sound mixes pop, rock, and electronic elements, with songs like 'Auber's Intent' and 'My Only Mistake' showing their range. They've worked with artists like Imogen Heap and James Mercer of The Shins, but the core has always been the Karns brothers on vocals, guitar, and drums, along with other long-time members.
