Archive material and source history
Fatallity started in Lisbon in the early 2000s, originally calling themselves Apocalypse. The band had four members: vocalist Ricardo Damásio, guitarists Hugo Soares and João Ferreira, and drummer Pedro Rodrigues. Their first single "Amigo" became popular in Portugal.
They released six studio albums, including Equinox, Aurora, Genesis, and Revolution. Their music mixed heavy metal, hardcore, and alternative rock.
In 2006, they had a legal dispute with their record label that paused their work for a while. Some people criticized their lyrics and performances, saying they promoted violence or anti-establishment ideas, but the band stood by their music.
