Fate/Zero formed in 2003 as a Japanese metal band. Their 2006 album Memoria included the title track that became one of their most recognizable songs, along with other tracks like Sora Wa Takaku Kaze Wa Utau and To The Beginning.

The band's lineup featured Masumi Ito on vocals, Takumi Shirasaki on guitar, Taisuke Sakamoto on bass, and Kazuki Sahara on drums. Their debut album Elysion came out in 2004, followed by Requiem in 2008 and Abyss in 2010. In 2013 they released In Somnia.

In 2009, Ito faced health issues that affected the band's activities. Their catalog includes songs like Back to Zero and Manten alongside their better-known material.
