Fator RH formed in São Paulo in 1999 with Serginho Groisman on lead vocals, Byafra on electric guitar, Edgard Scandurra on acoustic guitar, and Marcio Arantes on bass. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2000 and included songs like 'Como é bom amar você,' which became one of their most recognizable tracks.
After Groisman left in 2001 to go solo, Ricardo Koctus joined as vocalist. The band kept recording through the 2000s with albums like 'Engasga Foguete' in 2003 and 'No Mundo' in 2005. Another song people remember is 'Agora ou Nunca Mais.'
They put out 'Cores' in 2010 and later released live recordings, including 'Ao Vivo em Copacabana' in 2013. Their catalog also has songs like 'Bar Refém' and 'É só me ouvir cantar.'
