Faultlines formed in 2015 with David Deutsch on vocals, David Blake handling production and instrumentation, and Anna-Lynne Williams adding cello and backing vocals. Their debut EP 'The Lines We Cross' came out that year, followed by the 2017 album 'Glass' which included the track 'Voices.'
'Voices' became their most recognized song when it was released as a single in 2018. The song's atmospheric arrangement and Deutsch's vocals connected with listeners on independent charts. In 2019, Deutsch left the group after allegations surfaced against him.
