From the 1967 breakthrough "Deborah" to his 1989 Sanremo winner "Ti amo ancora."
For a quick sense of his style, try "Ora Che Ho Bisogno Di Te" or the earlier "Deborah." They're both pretty straightforward Italian pop from different points in his run.
Leali's voice carried Italian pop through several decades, from the early band hit "Deborah" with I Campioni to his later solo work. Songs like "Ora Che Ho Bisogno Di Te" and "T'ho Vista Piangere" show his knack for emotional delivery. His 1971 Sanremo performance of "A Chi" even stirred controversy with its lyrics about infidelity.
He started singing with I Campiani at sixteen, and their single "Deborah" broke through in 1967. After a serious car accident in 1973, he returned to recording and kept performing at Sanremo, eventually winning in 1989 with "Ti amo ancora."
