Archive material and source history

The Feelbacks formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. Their debut album 'Static' came out in 2003, and the song 'Ready To Go' from that period became their most recognizable track. They were a four-piece band with Max Anderson on vocals and guitar, Jake Carter on guitar, Mike Roberts on bass, and Chris Johnson on drums.

In 2006, Anderson was arrested for drug possession, an event that briefly disrupted the band's progress. They kept working, releasing 'Echoes' in 2008 and 'Departure' in 2012. Those later records moved away from their initial punk sound toward something more expansive, with psychedelic and ambient touches.

After taking a few years off in the mid-2010s, the Feelbacks returned in 2018 with an album called 'Reunion.'
