Feezy Haze formed in Rio de Janeiro with Rodrigo Pimentel on vocals and guitar, Danilo Silva on guitar and backing vocals, Felipe Martins on bass, and Felipe Crivellari on drums. They released their debut single "Viver a Vida" in 2018, which blended samba, reggae, and pop elements.
That song became popular in Brazil and led to tours around the country and South America. In 2020 they put out a second album called "Som do Mundo" that touched on samba, funk, and electronic dance music.
In 2021 there were some plagiarism accusations about "Viver a Vida" and another Brazilian artist's song. The band disputed those claims.
