Feigd formed in Los Angeles around 2005, with Ethan Stone on guitar and vocals, Kyle Thorne on bass, and Ethan Mercer on drums. They played live shows and eventually saw Thorne and Mercer leave, replaced by Matt Harrison and Alex Harper. Their debut album 'Blood and Dust' came out in 2009, featuring the title track that became a fan favorite.
That first album drew some criticism for its lyrics about violence and addiction, but the band stuck with their approach. They've put out three more records since then: 'Shadows of the Fallen' in 2012, 'Ashes of the Unseen' in 2015, and 'The Storm Within' in 2018. Songs like 'Feigdadraum' and 'Grotesquery of Men' show their heavy, direct style.
